In the recent PRs opened, these checks are not running anymore:
If reviving Travis CI or even maintaining it is not the preferred option going forward, we can use GitHub Actions instead. [Migrating to GitHub Actions](https://docs.github.com/en/actions/migrating-to-github-actions/manual-migrations/migrating-from-travis-ci-to-github-actions) should be straight forward.
