Uploading zipped or gzip files

Hi - i am trying to upload a zip or gzip file but when i do i get errors - can anyone provide an example of the command line format that works for this? Here is what i am currently trying to use but i continue to get a 'File Does not exist' error despite the file existing in the folder:

I try the above with a .zip file and it says "Input file does not have a valid extension".
