Is the model generalizable or limited to similar data?

Can I use this model for any real-world data (like traffic surveillance videos)?
I am asking because these types of videos can be captured from many different angles of view and distances. Also, they can be captured at different times of day or night.

Is the pre-trained model universal to detect and segment objects like vehicles in traffic videos? If not, can I add more data to the training set to make that possible?
