Explicit error throwing from a visual node?

I noticed you can throw errors from code nodes by throwing an error from code. But I would like to be able to throw errors from visual nodes as well in an explicit way.

The issue names no file, test, or entry point. Start by tracing how code nodes propagate thrown errors and how visual nodes execute; done means a visual node can explicitly raise an error with equivalent propagation.
