Alternative to this package: background_downloader

Since this package does not appear to be actively maintained, I hope I'm doing the community a service by suggesting to take a look at [background_downloader](https://pub.dev/packages/background_downloader) as an alternative. It does a lot more, is stable and is actively maintained. You can check out issue #823 for my rationale to create it (around the time flutter_downloader was first deprecated).
