provide better feedback when we encounter issues in the new project wizard

the readme.md does mention how to address the firewall issue - which is fantastic, thank you. but my concern about this is
1) it affects more than just intellij IDE of course
2) There's no graceful error message. Could you please give a link to that when the error happens, or at least let you see the console output like visual studio code does.

At least - when doing file new flutter project with this firewall issue, Intellij/Android Studio just hangs and you have to force-quit
