Description

When I install Okular using rpm, it offers certificates on my Smart Card (through opensc) without any additional configuration required. I haven't been able to get flatpak to work, it reports there are no certificates.

Research direction

Compare the RPM and Flatpak installations described in the issue, starting with how Okular discovers certificates through OpenSC on the Smart Card. Reproduce the Flatpak behavior and inspect its certificate access and permission differences. Done means certificates on the Smart Card are available for signing in the Flatpak installation.
