Description
The app icon is missing in Gnome's settings and quick settings menu (when using [this](https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/5940/quick-settings-audio-panel/) extension), see screenshots, although it should work when [installed natively](https://github.com/audacious-media-player/audacious/issues/1807#issuecomment-4586454919).
This happens regardless of which icon theme is used.
Audacious version and interface: 4.5.1 (flathub) GTK
Operating system and version: Ubuntu 26.04 (was also the case in previous versions)
Desktop environment: Gnome 50

Research direction
Start by reproducing the missing icon in the Flathub installation on Ubuntu GNOME, using the screenshots and the linked Quick Settings Audio Panel extension. Compare that behavior with the linked native installation report and inspect the desktop integration and icon metadata involved. Done means the Audacious icon appears in GNOME Settings and the quick settings menu regardless of the icon theme.
