Description

I've recently started using Audacious, and have been experiencing this issue. While it works fine during a session, if I close Audacious and then later re-open it, I get the error message:

> Error playing file:///run/user/1000/doc/abcdefgh/Filename.mp3:
> No such file or directory

This doesn't seem to happen if I restart Audacious right away after playing music, but rather happens if I leave it for a while and open it some time later on, perhaps on a different day.

I expect this is due to how the files are being loaded through portals or something, but it would be great if it could be fixed. Thanks.

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is identified in the report. First reproduce the issue by opening a file in Audacious, closing it, waiting, and reopening it; then investigate the persisted file URI and portal lifetime, with success defined as reopening later without the shown error.
