Scribus cannot create 'Render Frames'

I am using scribus flatpak build on my MX 21 box. It seems that due to some permission issue, scribus is not able to create render frames. When clicked on render frame icon, it says "It seems that your render frames are not configured correctly". But, what needs to be configured ? I tried changing static permissions through Flatseal, but it did not work.

I have the necessary LaTeX and XeLaTeX packages installed. I tested and found render frames to be working correctly on Appimage and Debian binary.
