Cannot open gimp (flatpak) in scribus (flatpak)

Description
When I want to edit an image with gimp (Flatpak) in scribus (right click and edit image) scribus can not find gimp. I have tried everything in the settings that I think should work: path to .desktop file; flatpak run org.gimp.GIMP and also tried all other possible paths. It's always the same result: "Warning: the application Gimp is missing or could not be started." Is there no way to start Gimp (Flatpak) from scribus?

Research direction
Reproduce the issue by using Scribus’s “right click and edit image” action with GIMP installed as a Flatpak. Check the configured .desktop path and the `flatpak run org.gimp.GIMP` command first; done means Scribus can start GIMP and no longer reports that the application is missing or could not be started.
