Description

I installed Lapce via flatpak, then opened a directory, and there was no syntax highlighting. After playing around, I removed the flatpak version and installed the RPM package from the GH release for v0.4.6. Syntax highlighting worked automagically.

My instinct is that flatpak - being paranoid - doesn't like pulling the tree-sitter grammars from a github repo.

OS/Distro: Fedora 43

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with Lapce 0.4.6 installed from Flatpak on Fedora 43, then compare its behavior with the GitHub-release RPM. Inspect the Flatpak manifest and runtime permissions, and check how tree-sitter grammars are loaded; done means syntax highlighting works when opening a directory through the Flatpak.
