I am aware that this Flatpak is an **unofficial**, community maintained one unapproved by Valve. This ticket should hopefully **open a discussion** about this. If possible, please keep it open. Thanks!
The Steam Flatpak has become significantly popular with over 4.2M installations, yet it is still an unofficial packaging not verified by Valve and hidden by default in software stores of some distributions such as Linux Mint or Universal Blue.
It would be great to try working with Valve on this Flatpak and its possible verification.
Even the unofficial Ubuntu Steam Snap, that has much lower user base, is verified (by Canonical, not Valve).
