Description
After updating to the newest Gnome version (44.1), windowed games no longer display their buffers correctly. The window will be a graphically glitched snapshot of whatever was being viewed on-screen when the game's window was created. The game still responds to keyboard inputs just fine. I am using X11 with the NVIDIA driver.
Proton version: 8.0-2
Games: Forza Horizon 4, God of War and RE2.
Thanks.

Research direction
No project file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the issue with GNOME 44.1 on Arch Linux using X11, NVIDIA, Proton 8.0-2, and one of the listed games. Done means the windowed game displays its current buffer correctly instead of a snapshot or graphical glitch.
