**Problem description**
The game crashes immediately with "Whoah -- no matter how hard I tried, I failed to get a GLX visual. Something's seriously wonky on your machine." I first assume this is an issue of the missing gtk2 and glu. However, trying to fork this and building a flatpak that includes them and checking with ldd if they are seen didn't solve the issue. The same error keeps happening.
Logs (with `SHARED_LIBRARY_GUARD_DEBUG="*(/*|/.*)/*" flatpak run com.valvesoftware.Steam > output.log 2>&1`): [output.log](https://github.com/flathub/com.valvesoftware.Steam/files/10951564/output.log)

Research direction
Start with the attached output.log and reproduce the immediate X-Plane-x86_64 crash on Fedora 37 with the listed NVIDIA and Flatpak versions. Compare the result with native Steam, which has not been tested, and trace the GLX visual failure. Done means identifying the cause and confirming a fix or documented incompatibility.
