Audio doesn't play beyond a second in Fedora Silverblue 30

If I try to play any song (I have Premium), it begins playing, and then simply stops within a couple of seconds at most with the message, "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it." There is no message on the console even if I try to run the application with the debug flag enabled.

However, if I use the Spotify Web Player on Firefox (which is not a Flatpak), it works perfectly. Is this because of some local filesystems permission or something? How might I go about debugging it?
