Description

I've been downloading the AppImage version of this app from the NextCloud website. I saw this in Flatpak version in the Ubuntu Software application, and want to use this instead of the AppImage version because of better integration with the OS.

For the AppImage version I have several directories set up for synchronization.

For the Flatpak version, none of them show up. But, if I try to set one up for synchronization - say ~/Shared - it tells me ~/Shared is already being synchronized.

I found a directory, ~/.config/Nextcloud/, containing _sync.log files for each of the synchronization directories in the AppImage version.

Ah, in the directory that I want to sync - there is a file .sync######.db that, upon deleting that file, I can now start the process of setting up the synchronization.

What would be great is a method of importing existing synchronization settings.

Research direction

Start by comparing the AppImage configuration in ~/.config/Nextcloud/ with the Flatpak version's configuration, and inspect the existing synchronization metadata such as the _sync.log files and .sync######.db files. Done means an existing set of synchronization directories can be imported into the Flatpak version without deleting metadata or configuring each directory again.
