Description

The "Select/Suggest password" right-click menu options have stopped working a while ago, and it's become very annoying. Autofill doesn't work either. I tried ignoring this for some time, but today I decided to do something about it, so I uninstalled Chrome, and installed it right back, but it still doesn't work. And yes, I also tried all the usual "fixes": deleting the cache, toying with the settings back and forth etc. Nothing seems to work, and I assume it's a genuine Chrome issue.

ArchLinux, GNOME, Wayland, everything latest version as of today. See also the screencast below. I haven't tried the non-Flatpak Chrome version, so I don't know how that one behaves.

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the broken password-menu and Autofill behavior in the Flatpak Chrome build on Arch Linux, GNOME, and Wayland, then compare it with the non-Flatpak version if available. Done means identifying the packaging or environment difference responsible and verifying that both options work.
