Fullscreen notification does not disappear

Description
When I fullscreen a video (any website, it seems), the little banner saying `to exit full screen, press Esc` stays visible.
This started about 2 weeks ago, and I've seen others talking about it [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/comments/1t9kup0/youtube_fullscreen_notification_does_not_disappear/)
Expected behaviour: The banner should disappear after a few seconds (or be toggled to turn off entirely, because I know to press Esc to exit full screen).
The banner disappers automatically on Firefox.
OS: Pop_OS! COSMIC 24.04 LTS
Chrome Version: Version 148.0.7778.167 (Official Build) (64-bit) Flatpak
