When opening an EXE from a file manager can you supply arguments?

I'm using a steam deck and opening an .exe file with the "Open with protontricks" option. The opening of the exe works great, but with the software I'm using I need to be able to configure the arguments passed to the exe. Is there a known way to supply additional arguments when using this option or a way to use the `protontricks-launch` command when using the flatpak version or is this not currently possible? Thanks
