FAQ: Flameshot freezes without notification manager despite config change

I am encountering an issue with Flameshot on Arch Linux, versions 12.1.0-3 from the extra repository and the latest git version from AUR. According to the FAQ, setting showDesktopNotification=false in the config file ~/.config/flameshot/flameshot.ini should prevent Flameshot from freezing for 30 seconds when no notification manager is present. However, the application still freezes even with this setting applied when capturing an image without a notification manager.
