Description

https://github.com/CommanderTurtle/localflame

Built a native local branch. It's simple, nothing too fancy. Just /v2/scrape and /v2/search endpoints on a local machine, with an install.sh that checks if the patch is already included.

It overwrites the default DS websearch, so no api errors. Just a run and a hotswap occurs for the default web queries the harness makes.

If this install route was optional within this repo, I'm sure many users would appreciate it.

Also lmao, deepseek flash made the repo. Way to go DSH! (only thing had to deny was it changing git config to my implied linux user name). 83k output covering implementation+repo, and no search except carefully reading from the node packages + FC endpoint.

Again, it's not fancy, just plain markdown for scrapes, default search provider with no auth assumed on localhost.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked localflame repository and this repository’s existing installation path. Compare its /v2/scrape and /v2/search endpoints and inspect install.sh, including its check for an existing patch. Done means the local implementation can be selected through an optional install route without disrupting the default web queries.
