Collect messaging stats in vuu-data

we would like to instrument vuu-data , in the first instance to collect data on message throughput, latency etc.
Initially, we'll just log this. Later we can explore possibilities to use this data to fine-tune rendering perforemance - potentially throttling messages sent from server etc. We can decide value of this when we have data to examine.
