## Proposal: Archiving this Repository

As part of regular repository maintenance and given the recent lack of activity, I propose moving this repository to an archived state.

### What does archiving mean?
* **Read-Only Access:** The repository will become read-only, but it will remain public, searchable, and forkable.
* **README Notice:** We will add a note to the top of the README stating that the project is archived, no longer actively managed, and provided as-is.
* Please refer to https://community.finos.org/docs/governance/lifecycle-stages/archived/ for more details about the "Archived" stage.

We want to ensure this decision aligns with the community. We will wait for 1 month from the date of this issue being opened to collect feedback. If you are still actively using this repo or want to step up as a maintainer, please comment on this issue!

### Restoring Activity
If plans change, the repository can easily be unarchived at any time by emailing help@finos.org.
