Bug: New file/folder doesn't show if the folders content hasn't fully loaded.

### Description

When I copy some files between local folders, often only one is displayed, but I now know the trick of pressing F5 to refresh the view, and then the remaining files are displayed. Note, not networked folders. Possibly related to the speed in displaying thumbnails of the JPG files, although I think non-image files have suffered the same issue?

### Steps To Reproduce

1. Copy at least two photos from folder a
2. Switch to folder b
3. Set layout to ___?
4. Paste the items
5. See issue where ____?
