# Project Summary
Solar DePIN Hub operates a live 60.84 kWp solar plant co-located with NVIDIA RTX 3090 GPU compute nodes. We generate real-time energy telemetry (FusionSolar + Modbus + WeatherXM) and match AI workloads to actual renewable power availability. This proposal aims to integrate Filecoin as the long-term, content-addressed storage layer for verifiable solar generation data, GPU workload logs, and green compute proofs. By anchoring high-frequency energy and compute telemetry on Filecoin, we create immutable, publicly auditable records of renewable-powered AI compute that can be referenced by any chain or marketplace.
## Impact
Current green compute claims in Web3 are mostly declarative and lack durable, verifiable data. Solar DePIN Hub already runs real physical infrastructure. Storing the resulting telemetry and proofs on Filecoin will:Provide the first production example of high-frequency renewable energy + GPU compute data permanently stored on Filecoin
Enable other DePIN and AI projects to reference verifiable green compute records
Strengthen Filecoin’s position in the climate + AI intersection
Create reusable open-source tooling for energy-aware DePIN projects
### Pain Points Addressed
Lack of verifiable green compute data: Most DePIN and AI compute claims cannot be independently audited for actual renewable energy usage.
Ephemeral telemetry: High-frequency solar generation and GPU workload data is currently stored in centralized or short-lived systems.
Missing durable green proofs: There is no production-ready pipeline that permanently anchors real-world solar + compute telemetry on Filecoin for public verification.
### Benefits & Risks of Failure
Successfully executing this proposal creates the first live reference implementation of high-frequency renewable energy + GPU compute data stored on Filecoin. It gives the ecosystem a reusable open-source pattern for energy-aware DePIN projects.
If not funded, verifiable green compute data will continue to remain fragmented and non-durable, limiting Filecoin’s role in the growing climate + AI intersection.
### Long-term Ecosystem Value & Success Metrics
Production pipeline that continuously uploads solar telemetry, GPU metrics and green compute proofs to Filecoin
Open-source connector and documentation that other DePIN teams can reuse
Public dashboard showing Filecoin CIDs linked to real solar generation events
Target: at least 3 months of continuous data archival with >99% successful deals
## Outcomes
Filecoin storage connector for solar telemetry + GPU workload logs
Automated pipeline from our live 60.84 kWp site → Filecoin
Public verification interface (CIDs + metadata)
Open-source documentation and example code
90-day continuous data archival report
### Final Deliverables & Functionality
Filecoin Storage Connector: Production module that packages real-time solar telemetry, GPU workload metrics and green compute proofs and stores them on Filecoin with structured metadata.
Automated Pipeline: Continuous ingestion from our live 60.84 kWp solar site + RTX 3090 nodes → Filecoin.
Public Verification Interface: Simple frontend/dashboard showing Filecoin CIDs linked to actual solar generation and compute events.
Open-source documentation + example code so other DePIN teams can reuse the pattern.
90-day continuous archival report with deal success rates and data volumes.
### Metrics for Success
Infrastructure: Stable automated daily/weekly data pushes to Filecoin with >95% successful deals.
Data volume: At least 500 GB of real solar + compute telemetry archived within the first 3 months.
Reusability: Open-source connector used or forked by at least 2 external projects.
Transparency: Public CIDs and verification page live and accessible.
## Data Onboarding
Projected data volumes to be packaged and stored on Filecoin (solar telemetry, GPU metrics, green compute proofs and metadata):Month 1: 50–80 GB
Month 3: 250–400 GB
Month 6: 1+ TB
Month 12: 4–6 TB
## Adoption, Reach, and Growth Strategies
### Target Audience & Current Engagement
Primary audience: DePIN teams, green compute providers, AI infrastructure projects and climate-focused protocols that need durable, verifiable proof of renewable-powered compute.
Secondary: developers building energy-aware applications who want a ready-made Filecoin storage pattern for real-world telemetry.
### Onboarding Strategy
First 10 users: Direct onboarding of early DePIN and green-compute teams who will test the Filecoin storage connector with real telemetry data.
First 100 users: Open-source release + documentation + public examples so other projects can integrate the connector.
Growth beyond 100: Collaboration with DePIN communities, climate protocols and Filecoin ecosystem partners to drive adoption of the verifiable green-compute data pattern.

Research direction
No repository files, tests, or entry points are identified in the proposal. Start by reviewing the linked SolarDePINHub repositories and the Filecoin integration requirements, then define the connector, ingestion pipeline, verification interface, documentation, and archival reporting scope. Done means the stated production pipeline, public CIDs, reusable examples, and success metrics are delivered.
