# SoverGrid: Web3 Developer Grant Application

## 1. Project Overview
**Project Name:** SoverGrid
**Tagline:** The Vercel for Web3. Deploy across decentralized compute and storage networks in one click.
**Target Networks:** Akash, Filecoin, Spheron, and broader DePIN ecosystems.

## 2. The Problem
The Web3 compute and storage ecosystem has a massive friction point: Developers want to build un-censorable apps on cheaper decentralized infrastructure, but they are forced to use centralized Web2 hosting (Railway, Vercel, AWS) because deploying directly to Web3 networks is too complex.

Deploying currently requires managing multiple native utility tokens (AKT, FIL), managing multiple wallets, and learning complex, separate CLIs and manifest files. Because of this extreme friction, Web2 developers abandon Web3 and stick with centralized providers.

## 3. The Solution: SoverGrid
SoverGrid completely abstracts the complexity of Web3 infrastructure. We provide a single, unified deployment architecture featuring an open-source Python CLI and a sleek Web Dashboard (`app.sovergrid.network`) that allows developers to deploy their applications to decentralized networks instantly.

* **Unified 5-Step UI:** Our dashboard abstracts deployment into a standard, intuitive UX (App Type → Source → Provider → Configure → Deploy) mirroring Vercel's simplicity.
* **Unified Payment Routing:** Developers pay one single fiat/USDC fee. Our smart contract automatically routes the payment, allocating the compute/storage costs directly to the underlying network providers while capturing the protocol's convenience fee.
* **Web2 to Web3 Migration Bridge:** A developer can take their existing, unmodified Web2 Python or Node.js application and deploy it via SoverGrid directly to decentralized networks. They instantly achieve Web3 decentralization without changing a single line of their core application code.
* **GitHub Monorepo Support:** Out-of-the-box support for scanning and branching complex repositories, seamlessly handling frontend/backend monorepos from a single interface.

## 4. Current Progress & Completed Work (What We've Built)
We are not pitching a concept; we have already built the core orchestration layer.
* **Functional Frontend Dashboard:** Built and deployed. Features seamless GitHub repository integration, dynamic environment variable injection, and real-time pre-flight code scanning.
* **CLI Architecture:** The Python CLI orchestrator is functionally built to wrap standard applications without requiring codebase modifications.
* **Expanded Provider Architecture:** The architecture is designed to deploy across Akash, Filecoin, Spheron, 4everland, Kwil, Tableland, Bittensor, io.net, and Lit Protocol from a single unified interface.

## 5. Grant Request & Milestones ($45,000 Total)
Because the core orchestration architecture, CLI, and frontend UI are already successfully built, 100% of this grant will be utilized strictly for funding the final backend API integrations, smart contract security, and Mainnet launch.

**Milestone 1: Backend API Integration & Fiat On-Ramp ($20,000)**
* Funding to finalize the live SDK and API connections between the SoverGrid Orchestrator and the decentralized provider networks.
* Implementing the production fiat-to-crypto on-ramp (Ramp Network) to allow traditional Web2 developers to pay for decentralized compute seamlessly via credit card.

**Milestone 2: Smart Contract Audits & Mainnet Deployment ($15,000)**
* A professional, third-party security audit of our `SoverGridAggregator` smart contract to ensure the fiat-to-crypto routing and user funds are completely secure.
* Deployment of the unified payment router to Mainnet.

**Milestone 3: Mainnet Launch & AI Support Integration ($10,000)**
* Funding for production testing hardware, software licenses, and high-load deployment simulations.
* Integration of a custom-trained AI support model directly into the dashboard to automatically debug user deployment issues, ensuring a self-sustaining ecosystem without manual human support overhead.
