# Project Summary
Nomiqa is a live mobile DePIN platform that turns real smartphone network measurements into privacy-preserving mobile connectivity intelligence. The platform already has 6,000+ users, a live Android application, background contribution, signal and network measurement, rewards, referrals, eSIM marketplace access, wallet support, and documented technical architecture.
The problem we are addressing is that real-world mobile network quality data is fragmented, centralized, and often not available as durable public infrastructure. Carrier coverage maps and marketing claims often do not reflect how connectivity performs in real conditions, across different locations, devices, carriers, and times of day.
This project will build the Nomiqa Privacy-Preserving Mobile Network Intelligence Archive. The archive will convert raw mobile contribution data into aggregated, privacy-preserving datasets and publish them using Filecoin/IPFS-compatible decentralized storage. The project will not store personal user data publicly. Instead, it will publish area-level connectivity intelligence such as signal quality, 4G/5G availability, carrier performance, weak coverage zones, congestion indicators, and historical reliability trends.
## Impact
Filecoin is designed to provide decentralized, durable, and verifiable storage for valuable datasets. Mobile network intelligence is a strong fit for this mission because it is real-world data with long-term value for developers, researchers, infrastructure builders, eSIM providers, DePIN projects, and connectivity-focused applications.
Today, most mobile network quality datasets are either closed, incomplete, expensive, or controlled by centralized companies. This creates a gap for builders who need reliable information about where networks perform well, where they fail, and how connectivity changes over time. Without a decentralized archive, this type of intelligence remains locked inside private systems and cannot become reusable infrastructure.
The benefit of getting this right is that Nomiqa can turn real-world mobile measurements into a privacy-preserving public dataset layer. Success means that developers and researchers can access useful connectivity intelligence without depending only on centralized coverage maps or private telecom datasets. The risk of not doing this is that mobile connectivity intelligence remains fragmented and unavailable to the wider Web3, DePIN, and developer ecosystem.
## Outcomes
The final deliverable will be a working decentralized archive pipeline for privacy-preserving mobile network intelligence.
The project will deliver:
1. A privacy-preserving aggregation layer that converts raw mobile contribution records into area-level datasets.
2. A dataset schema for mobile connectivity intelligence, including metadata for location granularity, time period, carrier/network type, signal quality, reliability indicators, and confidence level.
3. Filecoin/IPFS storage integration for publishing aggregated dataset snapshots.
4. A public dataset index and documentation explaining available datasets, schema, update process, privacy model, and access method.
5. A first version of a lightweight explorer/API that allows developers to discover and access published connectivity intelligence datasets.
6. A final technical report with implementation details, screenshots, storage proofs/links, and usage examples.
Success will be measured by:
- Aggregated datasets successfully generated from real Nomiqa contribution data.
- Public dataset schema and metadata documentation completed.
- Dataset snapshots uploaded using Filecoin/IPFS-compatible storage.
- Dataset index publicly accessible.
- At least 3 dataset releases completed during the grant period.
- At least 10,000 mobile contribution records processed into privacy-preserving aggregated outputs.
- Public documentation available for developers and researchers.
## Data Onboarding
Projected data onboarding:
- Month #1: 1 GB of test datasets, schema examples, and early aggregated outputs
- Month #3: 5–10 GB of aggregated connectivity intelligence datasets
- Month #6: 25–50 GB of aggregated historical and area-level datasets
- Month #12: 100+ GB depending on Nomiqa contribution growth and dataset release frequency
The public archive will only contain aggregated and privacy-preserving outputs. Raw personal user data will not be published.
## Adoption, Reach, and Growth Strategies
The target audience includes DePIN builders, eSIM platforms, telecom researchers, connectivity analysts, infrastructure teams, mobile application developers, and Web3 projects that need real-world connectivity intelligence.
Nomiqa already has a live mobile platform with 6,000+ users and an existing contributor network. This gives the project a real data source from day one instead of starting with an empty dataset. The first users of the archive will come from the Nomiqa ecosystem, DePIN builders, grant reviewers, developer communities, and teams interested in mobile connectivity intelligence.
Adoption strategy:
- Publish clear dataset documentation and access examples.
- Share dataset releases through Nomiqa channels.
- Create a lightweight explorer/API for easier access.
- Contact DePIN projects, eSIM builders, and researchers who can use the data.
- Publish technical updates showing what data has been archived and how it can be used.
- Use Nomiqa’s existing app/community to grow the data source over time.
The first 10 users will be onboarded through direct outreach to DePIN and telecom-adjacent builders. The first 100 users will be reached through public documentation, Nomiqa community updates, ecosystem posts, and dataset release announcements.
