Description

Category: Integrations

Amount requested: $50,000

Project description: ProofDeed is a production blockchain document authentication platform using SHA-256 cryptographic hashing — the same content-addressing foundation as Filecoin's CID system. We propose integrating ProofDeed with Filecoin storage so that documents stored on Filecoin can simultaneously receive a ProofDeed Certificate of Authenticity anchored to Polygon. This creates a complete decentralized stack: Filecoin for storage, ProofDeed for tamper-evident provenance. Already live at proofdeed.com — not a concept, production infrastructure.

Research direction

The proposal describes ProofDeed, Filecoin storage, SHA-256 hashing, and Polygon anchoring, but names no repository files, tests, or implementation entry points. Start by reviewing the integration requirements and the linked production service; done would mean a defined Filecoin-to-ProofDeed authentication and provenance integration with its scope and validation criteria documented.
