## Project Summary
The crowdfunding and social impact sector suffers from "Impact Opacity." While billions are donated globally, donors and DAOs often lack a verifiable, permanent record of how funds are utilized. Project metadata and proof-of-delivery assets — images, reports, receipts — are typically stored on centralized servers, making them vulnerable to censorship, data loss, and platform dependency. This creates a "Trust Deficit" that prevents high-velocity micro-funding from scaling to its full potential.

SwipePad addresses this by building a mobile-first Trust Layer that decentralizes the full lifecycle of a project. By integrating IPFS and Filecoin, we ensure that every project profile, curator review, and impact update is content-addressed and permanently archived. This project will develop the data infrastructure required to turn fleeting social impact into a permanent, verifiable "Impact Graph," allowing donors to see clear Proof-of-Impact alongside every donation action.

## Impact
The primary value to the Filecoin/IPFS ecosystem is the collection and permanent storage of Real World Data (RWD). We are not just storing files — we are creating a decentralized reputation system for 2,800+ verified projects already in our database. By moving this data to Filecoin, we demonstrate that decentralized storage is ready for mainstream consumer applications requiring high-velocity updates and multi-party verification. In doing so, we replace traditional centralized database integrations (Supabase, Convex) with a fully decentralized alternative.

The core pain point is the fragility of impact data. Without this project, the Proof-of-Delivery for thousands of climate and community initiatives remains at the mercy of centralized database uptime. Success looks like a public-facing Trust API where any ecosystem — Celo, BNB, Nouns — can verify the legitimacy of a project based on its IPFS-stored history. The risk of inaction is the continued siloization of impact data, which fragments the ReFi (Regenerative Finance) movement and slows systemic climate action.

## Outcomes
* **SwipePad Data Middleware:** A backend tool that automatically converts project updates into IPFS-pinned JSON metadata.
* **Decentralized Curation UI:** A "Swipe-to-Approve" interface that records curator cryptographic signatures and review notes directly to the IPFS/Filecoin layer.
* **The Permanent Impact API:** A public endpoint for external DAOs to fetch and verify project Trust Scores based on CID-linked historical data.

**Success Metrics:**
* **Data Integrity:** 100% of project metadata for our 2,800+ records successfully pinned to IPFS by Milestone 1 completion.
* **Verifiability:** Successful integration of a "Verified by Filecoin" badge on the SwipePad UI Lab for all pilot projects by Milestone 3.
* **Onboarding:** At least 50 high-impact projects actively using the decentralized proof-of-delivery pipeline by the July 15, 2026 mainnet launch.

## Adoption, Reach, and Growth Strategies
Our target audience includes 2,800+ regenerative project founders and the 30+ community partners engaged through our Solution Development Grants from Ethereum for the World and Celo Public Goods. We reach them through an "Invisible Web3" strategy — where the technical complexity of Filecoin is abstracted behind a familiar, high-end mobile interface.

We will use the International Day of the Bee (May 20, 2026) as a community visibility and early-access moment, onboarding initial users ahead of the full technical launch. Full mainnet deployment, including the decentralized proof-of-delivery pipeline, will go live on July 15, 2026, targeting 1,000+ active users at launch. By offering Permanent Proof-of-Impact, we give builders a tangible competitive advantage over those on centralized platforms, incentivizing them to migrate their project data to our decentralized pipeline.

* **Funding:** $5,000 (Smart contract/signature logic, CID generation pipeline, UI integration).

### Milestone 3: Trust API & Mainnet Launch

## Maintenance and Upgrade Plans
SwipePad is intended to serve as a core piece of Public Goods and ReFi infrastructure. Future upgrades include integrating the Filecoin Virtual Machine (FVM) for automated fund vault releases triggered by CID-verified impact reports, further closing the loop on the trust-and-fund cycle.
