How can I take just slice of the video now without downloading the whole video?

Description
Is that currently possible to download just a part of the video (from custom start to end second) without downloading the whole video? As far as I understand the [begin parameter](https://github.com/fent/node-ytdl-core/issues/838) is deprecated?
