Description
I'm using this bit of code to preload the dropzone with already uploaded files, but the file type icons are still present, which looks like this:

If I upload a real file, then they disappear correctly.
What triggers the file type icons to disappear? Should I do it manually somehow?

Research direction
Start with the linked FAQ preload example and reproduce the issue using an already uploaded file, then compare it with a real upload in the thumbnail UI. Trace what removes the file type icon in the real-upload path; done means preloaded thumbnails hide the icon in the same way without manual user intervention.
