Request to publish SAM checkpoints on GitHub or Hugging Face

Hello SAM maintainers —

Huge thanks for open sourcing the Segment Anything model and dataset. Currently, the official checkpoints are only available from Meta’s download server ([dl.fbaipublicfiles.com](http://dl.fbaipublicfiles.com/)).

Would it be possible to publish the official SAM checkpoints via GitHub (e.g. in releases or via Git LFS) or on the Hugging Face Model Hub? Our institution only allows for pulling checkpoints from these two places. Here are the models we would like to access:
