Sudden slow video propagation - looks like suddenly GPU is engaged

Description
Suddenly the propagate_in_video became superslow I don't know what happened, this morning it was way faster.
I do see in TaskMgr that it has started using my Laptop RTX A2000 card, loading it w ~20 % according to TaskMgr in Windows
Its now running at 10.00 s/it (on CPU its about 72.89s/it)
Earlier it processed like 2 fps but now it is unusable.
Im using torch (2.5.1 -> 2.5.1+cu118)
Rtx A2000 with cuda 11.8 (and the corresponding cl.exe compilers)
I have not touched any settings that I know about so it was a sudden change.
I have look at Performance in TaskMgr earlier, only saw small spikes on GPU but now its around ~20 %
