Description
**Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.**
A repository I'm contributing asked for something like that because zstd doesn't has that helper.
This data is required by some decompressing implementations to go concurrent on decompressing.
The code is not tuned in terms of performance, but if required, I would love to tune. An example about my profiling & tuning code: https://github.com/firedancer-io/firedancer/pull/10620
Also I would love to contribute if you have something related for me to implement, profile, tune etc.
**Describe the solution you'd like**
I already coded one for our project and fuzzed, not on upstream because of some, coordination issues.
Can port to your repository if you guys need it.
**Describe alternatives you've considered**
Of course we used helpers provided by this library, but there's no single helper doing that thing, and may more projects require that function.
**Additional context**
my code as poc (has some specific wrappers but easy to port to your library and match contributing.md) : https://github.com/0xfka/firedancer/commit/e7a09ceff9d4a5f84b7248393e4e33027f25601c
