Bug Fix: Selection format inconsistency with Firefox + Collab

In a collab test there's an inconsistency with Firefox with how it sets the selection format and possibly style in this particular scenario. Haven't done a full investigation as to why exactly this happens (could be due to caret movement, how selection is reconciled after focus, etc.) but I don't think this collab edge case with one browser should block other features. I don't think it will cause any data inconsistencies.

This requires further investigation but I don't think it should block this feature
