Resizing window breaks tracking

Generally I seem to speak faster than the tracking can keep up with (I am not going that fast). Like others, I would like the window to show upcoming text so I can be prepared to say it.

In order to work around this, I resized the window and manually scroll. When I resize the window, though, it appears that either the speech recognition is broken (the little waveform thing stops responding) or the tracking fails. I can't tell which.
