firebase-storage-upload-example: blob.close is not a function

Description
I try implement the upload image method to Firebase Cloud Storage from firebase-storage-upload-example. Unfortunately, I do not understand, but in my environment _blob.close_ return _undefined_.
Please, help me to understand what wrong.
