Fresh Install Caching Old Admin Account on Different or Same Device?

I migrated my application setup from an old laptop to dell optiplex with same ubuntu version 24.04.2 LTS (64 bit). However when installing a fresh install of compreface, whenever I sign up for a new user at intial creation, it puts me as a sub user under the old install from the old laptop. I did not migrate any files and have repeatedly deleted and reinstalled compreface with the same result each time.
