Description
_merchant
_order
_note
_customer
This feature allows the Merchant user to notify the customer with a note upon order cancellation on the Merchant side.
The anticipated use of this feature is when the restaurant has run out of an ingredient (i.e.: pepperoni), with the merchant inviting the customer to re-order without the previous product variant.
The customer must see the note in the Mobile Shop or the Web Shop in order to make a decision if to re-order.
The note may include free text and a choice from a template of usual messages (i.e.: "Please, reorder without the missing ingredient to have you meal delivered").
Upon order cancellation, the full order must be canceled, not only the product containing the missing ingredient.
We will post an update to this feature, asking the customer if he/she wants to continue with the order without the missing ingredient in a product, to make it more straightforward to the customer to re-purchase. Feature #54

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by mapping the merchant-side cancellation flow and the Mobile Shop/Web Shop order display, then define how free-text or template notes and full-order cancellation should support the stated customer re-order behavior.
