Deposits not correctly detected, even after a long time (VERY BAD there is not even a warning about this!)

I went to the Medalla launchpad and re-uploaded a deposit json for deposits that were made some time ago (~12 days), to check if they had been detected. Detection was extremely patchy, with more deposits failing detection than not by a wide margin. I've attached the deposit json here for reference. I assume the same problem would exist for Mainnet deposits, which would be EXTREMELY BAD and could easily lead to double deposits for users if not addressed. At a bare minimum there should be a huge disclaimer about this, though ideally it should actually be fixed.
