Integration of remote HA controlled media_player/speaker into ESPHome "voice_assistant"

**Describe the problem you have/What new integration you would like**

I would like to use remote speakers integrated to HomeAssistant as replacement for small speakers in AtomEcho / S3-Box3 / AtomU(mic-only Echo) ESPHome devices when using VoiceAssist.
I haven't found other media_player platforms except "speaker" which has only available platform "i2s_audio".
Is there a plan for new platforms for remote speaker/media_player ?

My AtomU was working as mic-only device with confirmation messages sent via "homeassistant.action: service: tts.speak" to MPD speaker in the same room before voice_assistant changes in ESPHome 2025.2.
Now I'm not sure how to modify voice_assistant section after changing to media_player concept.
