Validating lambda behaviour before it's uploaded into the device

Every time I need to update some lambda on an esphome device I have to upload into a device to see if will compile and see if I’ve written it correctly.

Is it possible to create an equivalent of the template section in HA developer tools so I can test my esphome templates without deploying first.

Even better if there’s a way of easily exporting sensors on esphome into the developer tool so I can test with real device sourced data
