Description
**Describe the problem you have/What new integration you would like**
Actually, the only supported rain detection modules are from Hydreon RG-15 or RG-9. They are quite expensive (99USD and 49USD)
DFRobot are selling an Intelligent Rain Detection Module for about 21USD, less than the half.
I couldn't find many reviews about the quality of this product, and how it compares with Hydreon solutions. By the way, having a more affordable device for our project would be appreciated, and add more diversity.
This device specifications :
- Communication : UART (115200bps)
- Voltage / Operating Current : 3.3V / <50mA (perfect for direct powering with the ESP32)
- Sensors : Rain detection / Ambiant light detection / Temperature detection
**Please describe your use case for this integration and alternatives you've tried:**
My use case, would mainly be rain detection for pergola automation, but light and temperature is interesting as well.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing Hydreon RG-15 and RG-9 integrations, then read the linked SEN0545 datasheet and user manual to compare UART messages and available measurements. Done means the module can provide rain detection, with light and temperature readings if supported consistently.
