Description
**Describe the problem you have/What new integration you would like**
If you want to adjust the brightness of lights with a high resolution, it will take a lot of effort to go to the brightness extremes.
What I want to happen is if the rotary encoder is turned slowly, there will be granular control of the brightness. If it is turned quickly, the brightness will change quickly too.
**Please describe your use case for this integration and alternatives you've tried:**
**Additional context**

Research direction
The request names no files, tests, or entry points and is tracked in the feature-requests repository. Start by locating the rotary encoder implementation in the ESPHome project and checking how brightness changes are currently handled. Done means slow turns provide granular brightness control while fast turns change brightness more quickly, with the behavior covered by appropriate tests.
