Support ingress with ingress-nginx annotations support?

*Description*:
I have been using ingress-nginx and envoy gateway side by side, now that ingress-nginx will be deprecated this month we need to migrate to either gateway api or different ingress controller. Traefik makes this a bit easier but would like to stick to EG but this only supports gateway api, any chance supporting ingress can be revisited? It would move a lot users to EG!
