Description

This is clearly going to take off in a big way. One of my biggest issues with npm (the codebase) and many other projects of that ilk (big repo, big code, big user set) is that there isn't much room for new programmers, new folk to open source or people just unfamiliar with the problem set (i fall into the latter group, having tried to contribute to other package managers and found no way to do so).

So I just wanted to raise this issue and ask that once you've found your feet and had a self care break 🌱 to deal with all this excitement and overwhelm, we think about how we can tailor a subset of your upcoming issues to "beginners".

Happy to be involved with this, and good luck.

edit: i see the "good first issue" label but as I'm sure you know, a lot goes into making a good first issue, something i have a little exp with after creating "yourfirstpr".
