It would be more in line with standard economic usage if the "inflation" line on http://tributary.io/inlet/6153454 said "Consumer Price Index." Inflation is an annual rate of change. What you have is the cumulative change since 2000.
As it is, though, I think everyone knows what you mean.

Start at the Tributary visualization linked in the issue and locate the line currently labeled “inflation.” Check how that label is sourced in the bart project, then change it to “Consumer Price Index”; done means the visualization uses the corrected terminology without changing the underlying cumulative value.
