IME input broken

Egui v0.23,chinese punctuation cannot be inputted by IME, but copy/paste does work.
Egui v0.22 works fine.

Start by reproducing the IME behavior in a native egui 0.23 application on Win10 LTSC, comparing Chinese punctuation input with copy/paste and with egui 0.22. Trace the native IME input path while reproducing the failure; done means Chinese punctuation can be entered normally in egui 0.23 without breaking existing text input.
