Support from more organizations?

Would it be possible to solicit support for egui from a diverse collection of organizations to support egui? I really want to use egui in my project but I am a little concerned about what happens a year or two from now (c.f. the actix-web spectacle). I would feel much more comfortable if four or more fairly large companies were actively sponsoring and contributing to this project...
